  残念ながら、ザ・ルイス・ファミリーが引退するのは本当のようです。

5/23/09 - The Lewis Family has reached the difficult decision of announcing their retirement.    They want to thank all their friends and fans who have supported them during these past 60 years.  Continuing health issues and age have caused them to examine their traveling schedule, and they have set their last date as September 5, 2009.  You can view their final schedule

１９５１年の結成以来60年もよくがんばった！と思います。

９月５日のライブが最後とありますが、ヒョウキンで人気者のリトル・ロイは６７歳、
ジャニスは７０歳ですからグループとしては無理でも、単独で今後もお目にかかれる事でしょう。
